Studio

Feb. 2008

Finally an "after shot" of the boutique section of the studio.  Yes the ceramic kiln must be moved out of the shot!  Mom came out and we changed the studio totally around so I have a few things to put away before I show you the rest.

There is a 2 station torching bench and an electroforming/silver working bench!!

2006 - Just moved in!

Well we have moved out into the Valley (Mission) and are just loving it.  When I say "we" I always mean me and the cats
(and maybe some worms ;).  I have moved into a great rancher style home with an attached studio.  The studio is seperated
from the house with 2 beautiful stained glass doors.  There is a seperate bathroom, office, sitting area complete with fireplace
and then a gorgeous working/retail space.

It has been a challenge finding homes for everything and I am definately not done yet so I will show you a "before" shot as the "after" shot is still a work in progress.

At the moment I have 2 Aim beads kilns and one larger ceramic kilns should I want to do more slumping/fusing.  I have one torch set up with my Bobcat and there is a Minor Burner waiting for it's own oxycon.  I was going to paint the entire studio but ran out of steam...the colour is not too bad and now that it is full of "stuff" you really don't notice what colour it is.

On the right side of the pic is where the torch(s) are set up, in the middle is a display area and on the far left side is my motorcycle.  I will try to get things put away this week and then take more pics....thanks for stopping by!!

I can show you a pic of the cane being made....this one is in the glory hole!!
